When I was creating the brand for Veronica Tours Barcelona, I knew I wanted visual elements that expressed warmth, rich history, and meaningful experiences. This is why flowers and nature came together in my logo. The Veronica is a humble yet remarkably resilient wildflower, known for its unique color palette that ranges from clear sky blue to soft lilac and deep violet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Its name carries deep historical roots, merging the Latin word vera<\/em> with the Greek eikon<\/em> (image), literally translating to “True Image.” In traditional heritage, “Veronica” refers to the woman who wiped the face of Christ, leaving his likeness gently captured on the cloth. Because of its serene blue shades, traditional lore also linked this bloom to quiet contemplation, affectionately naming it “Eyes of Mary.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n A curious detail is the meaning this flower took on over time. During the 18th and 19th centuries, gifting a blue Veronica flower to someone setting out on a journey meant saying: “I wish you the very best, but do not forget me.” This message aligns perfectly with my vision for your journey. I want to wish you the absolute best as you discover Barcelona, but above all, I want to leave you with feelings so genuine that you will hold onto them long after you return home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There is a very clear reason why this symbol fits Barcelona so well. This is the city of Modernism\u2014an artistic movement that brought nature\u2019s shapes into stone, glass, and ceramics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Walking with me through the streets of Barcelona, you will quickly notice botanical elements everywhere. Antoni Gaud\u00ed and the great architects of his time designed the city like a green sanctuary.
