My Story
From Venice to Barcelona, via the Stage
If I had to describe my life with an image, it would be a bridge between the timeless beauty of Italy and the vibrant energy of Spain.
Originally from Treviso, it was among the streets, museums, and theaters of Venice that my artistic education began. My passion for languages and travel made me want to explore the world early on, but at sixteen, something changed everything: I fell in love with theater. From that moment on, my life was split between being in the audience and performing on stage.
This double passion led me to my university studies between Venice and Bologna, where I focused on Literature and Art History.

Love at First Sight
Falling for Spain
In 1997, I had my first big trip to Spain. I moved to Madrid for university and loved the culture, the language, and the energy of the movida madrileña. That experience left me with one certainty: Spain was going to be part of my future.
While living between Bologna and Madrid, I focused my research on Catalan Modernism, writing my Master’s thesis on Francesc Anglada Camarasa—a great painter who influenced Picasso and created a strong connection with Italy.
After working in Italy as an art dealer in Venice and organizing museum exhibitions and art workshops, I really wanted to come back to Spain. In 2009, I chose Barcelona as my home, my stage, and the center of my work.

Where My Worlds Come Together
Here, I decided to continue my acting studies at the Argentine theater school Comediarte. Later, working with the Teatro de los Sentidos deeply shaped how I share art, creating my sensory approach to guided tours.
At the same time, my connection to spirituality grew stronger. I have always practiced yoga and studied world religions, and this path became even deeper in Barcelona through my volunteer work with the local Christian community.
The real turning point came when I started working as an official guide inside two of the city’s top landmarks: the Gran Teatre del Liceu and the Palau de la Música Catalana. In these iconic places, my worlds—art, music, and theater—finally came together.
2021 · The Turning Point
Born Veronica Tours Barcelona
In 2021, I earned my official Tour Guide license from the Generalitat de Catalunya. It was the key step to start my own business, partner with top international agencies, and create Veronica Tours Barcelona.
Veronica Tours Barcelona is not a traditional tour agency with basic group visits. It is a boutique concept of mindful, private travel designed to connect Art History, Theater, and Spirituality into one single story.
I want to welcome you just like family or close friends: taking you by the hand to discover an authentic, elegant Barcelona away from tourist traps and big crowds.
