⟡ Gaudí’s Childhood & The Cradle of Modernism
Antoni Gaudí was born in Reus—an elegant city filled with beautiful architectural gems designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner (Gaudí’s professor at the School of Architecture). We’ll walk past Gaudí’s childhood home and baptismal church, then tour Modernist landmarks like the Pere Mata Institute and Casa Navàs—a pristine mansion keeping all its original 1900s interior furnishings intact.
Option 2: Figueres
⟡ The Theater of Memory: Salvador Dalí & Surrealism
Figueres is the birthplace of Salvador Dalí and the town where he built his ultimate artistic vision. Here, the city feels like a Surrealist stage. We’ll walk past his birthplace and Saint Peter’s Church before stepping inside the world-famous Dalí Theatre-Museum. Designed personally by Dalí, it is the largest Surrealist object in the world, where every room feels like a scene in a play. (Trip can be extended to include Púbol Castle or Cadaqués).
