Cancellation Policy

Last updated: July 2026

  1. Booking and Confirmation A reservation for a private tour, cultural experience, or telephone consultation with Veronica Tours Barcelona is considered confirmed only after written confirmation (email or WhatsApp) from Veronica and 100% payment for the service. Any cancellation or date change request must be communicated in writing to: info@veronicatoursbarcelona.com.
  2. Cancellation Penalties (by the Customer) Depending on the date of cancellation, the following refund policy will apply:
  • Cancellations with more than 15 days’ notice: 70% of the guide/consultant fee will be refunded. The remaining 30% will be retained for cancellation and scheduling fees (admission fees for monuments or museums already purchased are non-refundable under any circumstances).
  • Cancellations with 14 days or less notice, or in the event of a no-show: No refunds will be given, and 100% of the amount paid will be retained.
  • Rescheduling: If you need to change the date of your visit instead of canceling it, I will do my best to offer an alternative at no additional cost, always subject to my availability.
  1. Entrance tickets, shows, and private transportation (Third-party services) Tickets for museums, monuments, or shows, as well as private transportation services (Chauffeur-driven car rental – NCC) booked and purchased on behalf of the customer, are non-refundable under any circumstances, as they are subject exclusively to the terms and conditions of the issuing institution or third-party provider (museum, theater, concert hall, transportation company, etc.).
  2. Refund method and bank charges Refunds will be made via The same payment method used for the initial booking (credit card or bank transfer). All fees, bank charges, or transaction fees required to process the refund will be borne solely by the customer and will be deducted from the total refund amount.
  3. Weather Conditions Guided tours operate regularly, rain or shine. Bad weather or rain are not considered valid reasons for canceling the tour, requesting last-minute changes, or demanding a refund.
  4. Force Majeure Only in the event of extreme weather conditions that objectively compromise the safety of visitors, sudden transport strikes, health emergencies, or extraordinary closures of monuments, will an alternative solution be sought (such as changing the itinerary or rescheduling). If it is impossible to provide the service due to force majeure beyond the control of either party, the tour fee will be refunded (excluding the cost of any tickets or third-party services already purchased).
  5. Cancellations by Veronica Tours Barcelona In the unlikely event that I am unable to provide the service due to a serious reason (illness or serious impediment), I will always try to find another date or time that suits your needs. If no agreement can be reached, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded within a maximum of 15 working days.
  6. Exclusion of the right of withdrawal (EU Regulation) Pursuant to Article 16.l) of Directive 2011/83/EU (implemented in Spain by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 and in Italy by the Consumer Code), the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply to services related to leisure activities if the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance. Therefore, exclusively the cancellation conditions detailed in this document will apply.
